My Writing Portfolio

I’ve been reading and writing content of some sort or another for pretty much my whole life. Early photos show me in a high chair clutching a book, I wrote a short story compilation during half term as a 7-year-old and we don’t need to talk about the 25000-word Harry Potter fanfiction I wrote aged 16, do we?

Creative writing aside, I’ve also worked 12 years in online content creation, writing e-learning courses and over 150 informative articles on topics including food hygiene, safeguarding children, health and safety, data protection and personal development, to name a few.

Alongside my career, I’ve also written various articles and blogs around the internet — I had my own successful sewing blog for many years, I documented my life as an au-pair in Paris on another blog, I’ve created reviews and articles on National Trust properties and Disneyland Paris for a parent/child website and I’ve created home-schooling resource packs for an educational site. Clearly, writing is ‘my thing’.
